Introduction

The Triangle Healing Trust, a registered charity, was founded in 1996 to provide a place of sanctuary for those who are suffering, whether it be coping with major illness, bereavement, sharing a trouble or simply to be still for a while. Within a Grade II listed lodge on the site of what was Cuckfield Hospital, a calm, 'safe' comfortable space has been lovingly created. The door is open five days a week to all comers, offering healing, counselling and support.

In addition the Trust hosts regular support groups for cancer patients run in conjunction with the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. The NHS also provides supervision support for nurses away from a clinical setting. The Charity works in harmony with other orthodox and complementary practitioners. By offering time, comfort and a listening ear, we often supplement  overstretched existing professional services available in the Mid Sussex area. We have become known for our innovative, creative approach to holistic healing and our commitment to the ideal of integrated medicine.

As there is no charge for any of the services offered, the charity is solely dependent upon donations, fundraising events and grants.

As with all charities, the Trust depends on enthusiastic volunteers who take a variety of roles i.e. telephone answering, computer skills, event organising and fundraising. We are always very grateful for this help and try not to ask volunteers to do what they are not innately good at.
